Janna Kovach has over 23 years of experience in the senior care industry. Starting her career, she worked for seven years with individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities managing group homes. She moved into senior care as the Director of Social Services in a skilled nursing facility in St. Paul. She spent 12 of those years coordinating admissions for a 90-bed facility of LTC and TCU beds. From there she moved on to spend eight years as a corporate consultant for social services and therapeutic recreation for two different senior care corporations covering nine states.
Janna has extensive knowledge of rules and regulations of the industry. She also has served as the lead abuse coordinator in her roles and has done extensive training on vulnerable adult reporting and investigations, not only in the facilities she consulted for, but at trade association conferences as well.
Janna has been a licensed social worker for 32 years. She also holds a Master of Arts certificate in organizational leadership. She is certified as a mental health first aider.
